Abstract:Water culture is an integral part of Chinese culture. Vocational colleges specializing in water resources should utilize their industry characteristics to actively take on the responsibility of protecting, inheriting, and promoting water culture. For these institutions, it should leverage the guiding role of water culture in education to train more technical and skilled professionals who can adapt to the construction, reform, and development of the water resources industry. For Shandong Vocational College of Water Resources, it has innovated paths in water culture education, focusing on cultivating “Like-Water Youth” which are moral, intelligent, skilled, ambitious, and capable. It has developed a “Five Educations in Parallel” model which aligns with the characteristics of water resources and highlights the style of the water college.
