Abstract:Compared with nitrogen, phosphorus control plays a more direct role in preventing water eutrophication. Considering the extremely long cycle of natural phosphorus circulation and the environmental impacts of artificial phosphate rock mining, efficient recovery of dissolved phosphorus is of great practical significance. This paper reviews the latest progress of technologies for removing and recovering dissolved phosphorus from water, in terms of solid-phase precipitation, biological and ecological methods, as well as adsorption and exchange. The applicable conditions, advantages and disadvantages of different technologies are compared and analyzed, and the future development directions are proposed.
