Abstract:As industrial agglomeration hubs, chemical parks in Weifang Municipality have water pollution prevention and control function directly related to regional ecological security and local people's wellbeing. Based on field investigations and data analysis, this paper systematically sorts out the development status, environmental management and smart construction achievements of nine chemical parks, and focuses on analyzing practical results of water pollution prevention in sewage collection, treatment, reclaimed water reuse, rainwater management and smart supervision. The research finds that the park zones still suffer from insufficient investment in infrastructure, weak environmental risk prevention and control, and low-level professional management. Accordingly, countermeasures and suggestions are put forward from aspects of improving park intensive development, remedying infrastructure deficiencies, upgrading rainwater management systems, advancing smart construction, optimizing supervision systems and strengthening professional management. This paper provides decision-making references for modernizing the water environment improvement system and management capacity of chemical parks in Weifang and realizing green, low-carbon and high-quality development.
