Abstract:Taking Jining Municipality as the research object, this paper summarizes the operation status and coping strategies of rural water supply projects under diverse geomorphic conditions. It analyzes the root causes of prominent problems in rural water supply security: water pipelines reaching villages instead of households in mountainous areas, inadequate operation and maintenance of single-village water supply projects in lakeside areas, and insufficient informatization in plain areas. Targeted countermeasures to improve rural water supply security are put forward according to varied geomorphic features, so as to provide experience for other regions to strengthen rural water supply security in light of local conditions.
