Abstract:The site of west sluice in Wen Jiaqiao on the Tuma River in Shanghe County, Jinan Municipality is faced with liquefiable soil layers, insufficient foundation bearing capacity and seepage issue. This study adopts composite cement-soil mixing pile technology for foundation treatment. Through geological exploration, parameter optimization, stability calculation and construction process control, the results show that the bearing capacity of the sluice foundation rises from 80~120 kPa to over 145 kPa, the liquefaction index drops below 2, and the seepage gradient decreases from 1.13 to 0.32. Compared with conventional schemes, this technology cuts construction cost by 25% and shortens construction period by 30%, and analyzes the popularization value of this technology against the engineering of Diaokou River (the original Yellow River channel). providing technical references for foundation treatment of sluices in the alluvial plain of the Yellow River.
