Abstract:Water projects are vital livelihood projects in modern society, and their safety is crucial to the security of the country and the public. Restricted by investment constraints at the time of construction, a large number of small and medium sized rubber dams in China are not equipped with sufficient safety monitoring devices and still rely on manual inspection to this day. Taking a medium sized rubber dam in Qingzhou City in Shandong Province as an example, this paper addresses the problems identified in safety re checks, such as incomplete monitoring facilities and concrete aging, and proposes a low-cost solution. Through dynamic perception of displacement, seepage pressure and water level, the system realizes the transition from "passive detection" to "active perception", and provides a feasible approach for safety monitoring of similar small and medium sized water projects.
