Abstract:As a key water hub of the Grand Canal, Daicun Dam has a history of more than 600 years. Its innovative three-in-one design concept and scientific water diversion mechanism fully reflect the outstanding wisdom of ancient Chinese water conservancy workers. This paper systematically studies the contemporary practices for the protection and inheritance of Daicun Dam, and expounds its values in water culture education, ecological enlightenment and technical inheritance. It proposes an innovative approach featuring systematic protection, dynamic utilization and technological empowerment, aiming to provide references for the protection of contemporary water heritage.
